Rachel

Rachel came into a Virginia shelter with most of her litter of redtick coonhounds - all beautiful dogs and all now have rescue or adopters waiting. Rachel has been settling in at her foster home in Massachusetts. Her foster finds her to be a gentle, loving, low-key hound, especially considering her age of 10 months old. Rachel is gaining confidence around new things, and she does well with other dogs both big and small. She weighs about 50 lbs. At her Virginia foster home, she learned to use the doggie door and is almost housebroken. She enjoys playing with her toys and likes to cuddle on the sofa with her people. She's good around the cat too. Rachel is going to be a great hound companion. Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
