Quinn American Staffordshire Terrier Baker City, OR

Quinn is estimated to be 5 years old. She came to our organization as a "found dog" in association with people attending a funeral service for a friend, meaning it appears her person passed away and she became homeless. She tends to look carefully at all passing vehicles when out walking as though she is looking for her person. Given her nature, and living skills it is believed she was treated with love.
And Quinn loves people. When she entered our training program she smiled constantly as she spent time with her trainers. Being with a human companion is what she is all about. She is a very devoted, loyal companion. She is also potty trained. She is good with many dogs and not good with dogs who challenge her for authority . She knows a number of commands. She needs work on leash walking meaning she can pull at times. Her best outdoor exercise is off leash running and retrieving a wubbakong. She is as happy lying around near you on her dog bed.
Quinn had a cyst on her jaw. It was determined to be cancerous but not a form that spreads. The growth was successfully removed and Quinn recovered to full health and function quickly. She is a very active healthy dog who has good energy to do things with you when you are active. She is microchipped and current on all shots. Quinn will bark to alert you to a person approaching but does not continue to bark.
