Quincey's Story

Some dogs take a little longer to find their confidence—and when they do, they're the ones who leave the biggest mark on your heart.

Quincey is a handsome 2.5-year-old Kelpie mix with striking black and tan coloring and soulful eyes that seem to tell his story. At first, he can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little patience and kindness, and you'll discover an incredibly sweet, loyal companion.

Quincey absolutely loves other dogs and thrives in their company. In fact, he currently shares his kennel with his best friend, Ebony, and the two have become inseparable companions while waiting for their forever homes (together or separately)

He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and ready to start the next chapter of his life.

Quincey has spent far too long waiting at our shelter partner in Hillsboro, Texas. While so many other dogs have come and gone, this beautiful boy continues to wait for someone willing to look past his initial shyness and see the loving dog underneath.

If you're looking for a gentle companion who will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty, Quincey may be exactly the dog you've been searching for.

Currently located with our shelter partner in Hillsboro, Texas.
