Queen Jolene's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Hi Everybody!

My name is Queen Jolene, and I am a 44 lb, 2-year-old female Doberman. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, I might just be the right girl for you!

My foster mom describes me as an absolute pleasure to have around. I’m potty trained, sleep through the night, a wonderful camping companion, and a great cuddler. I am sweet, mild-mannered, and very loving. True to my breed, I am a Velcro dog and I will follow you around the house wherever you go - I love to be near my people. I’m am also quiet and very well-mannered in the house. As for what I like to do to have fun, my absolute favorite thing is to jump in the car and go out for adventures! I ride in the car beautifully - sitting still without a peep, even on long drives! Like many of my breed, I am a great watch dog - I will watch for people approaching and alert you when I see them. I can be shy when I first meet people, but I quickly warm up after a nice introduction. I get along great with all the dogs I’ve met in my foster family, but I’m a little more wary when I meet dogs out in public. My foster mom has been working with a trainer that’s been helping me gain skills in this area and the trainer says she is impressed with my progress so far!

I hope to find a family that will let me cuddle on the couch with you (maybe even the bed!), take me on adventures, get me plenty of exercise, and continue my training. My foster mom thinks I would do best in a home with a fenced yard and a family that has ample time to spend with me, with either adults only in the house or older children (14+) so the whole family can commit to continuing my training.

Do you think I could be the girl for you? Apply to meet me here if you think I might be!

https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
