Queen's Story

Meet Queen: The Hug-Demanding Diva
Age: 9 years young
Weight: 64 pounds of pure devotion
Breed: Boxer, with a minor in comedy and cuddling

Do you ever wish your dog loved you just a little too enthusiastically? Excellent. Queen has been preparing for you and is ready to claim her throne and her people.

Queen lives by one unshakable rule: everyone gets a hug. Whether you’ve been gone for four hours or five minutes, she’ll greet you with full-body affection, paws and all, until your arms are wrapped around her. Resistance is futile—Queen’s hugs are non-negotiable, adorable, and guaranteed to brighten your day.
She’s wonderful with kids, adores adults, and still outruns puppies. That’s right, this 9-year-old legend regularly embarrasses 6-month-olds in the Zoomie Olympics. Age is a number. Queen is an experience.

Queen is a velcro dog. Wherever you go, she goes. Walking, road trips, snack supervision, emotional support during absolutely nothing. She’ll be there, gazing at you like you hung the moon and maybe dropped a crumb.

She gets along with other dogs but would truly shine as the center of attention. After all, she’s waited patiently and earned the spotlight. A physically fenced yard is required for royal zoomies, and when it’s cold out, she expects a wardrobe befitting her status. Fur Fun Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our dogs are all in foster homes. We require a completed application prior to meeting one of our dogs. The adoption application is on our website: furfunrescue.org. Once the application is received, we check the veterinarian reference if you have or have had pets. Then we contact you to set up a time to meet the dog. If, after meeting the dog you want to proceed with an adoption, we will run a background check, call personal references, and do a home visit. We always introduce our dog to any current pets. The final step is completing the adoption contract.
