Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with our adoption application. A link to it can be found on our website at www.furfunrescue.org. It is filled out online and submitted to us. Processing the application can take a 2-3 days and will include a background check, veterinarian reference (if current or past pets) and three personal references. During this time we may set up a visit with the dog at the foster home. The final step in the process it a home visit to ensure that everything on the application was truthful and the home is a safe environment for the dog. If the home visit is approved we would complete the adoption contract with the adopter to complete the adoption.
