Quarry - Aussie with a Healing Heart's Story
Meet Quarry! - Foster Needed by 12/14!

Quarry is one of five young Aussie pups we rescued from a puppy mill situation in Eastern WA. Like the others, he suffered porcupine quill injuries—but his were the worst we’ve ever seen. This poor boy even had quills down his throat.

When we found him, Quarry was starving, in pain, and desperately pawing at his face to try to escape the agony. It broke our hearts.

The good news? He’s been to the vet, the quills are gone, and he’s on the road to recovery. He's been in a great foster home and is showing us more of his true nature. But Quarry is still very shy—understandable after the trauma he’s endured.

Now we need your help. Quarry is about to lose his foster home and needs a soft place to land. We'd also be thrilled to find an adopter! Quarry is a guy with some particular needs, so here's what we're looking for:

- Quarry is still learning to trust people, so he needs a quiet home with an experienced dog person. He does best with women but is learning men can be safe too. He needs a home without young children so he can relax and continue to heal.

- It's essential that there be another dog in the home who can be a calm, patient leader to help bring Quarry out of his shell. No cats, please.

- We also want Quarry to have a fenced in yard with at least a six-foot wooden fence. We want him to be able to stretch his legs in comfort and safety.

If you meet these criteria and can open your heart and home to this sweet, gentle soul, please fill out a foster application today at RedWagginRescue.org

***************************************************************

ADOPTION INFO
Dog adoption fees include:
- All Basic Dog Vaccinations
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- Flea & Tick Treatment
- Spay (Up to $400)
- Neuter (Up to $300)
- Microchip & Registration

All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue.

APPLY ON OUR WEBSITE AT THE LINKS BELOW

ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://www.redwagginrescue.org/adopt

FOSTER APPLICATION: https://www.redwagginrescue.org/foster

Please don't hesitate to contact us at ConnellPetRescue@gmail.com, if you have any questions or would like more information.
