Purple #0130 is a 5-year-old Yorkie mix who is currently recovering in foster care and starting the search for his forever home.<br/><br/>Purple came to us from a local animal control with a severe leg wound that had gone untreated for nearly two months. Since entering rescue, he has undergone surgery and is healing well.<br/><br/>Purple is a sweet and sensitive little dog who takes time to feel safe in new situations. Once comfortable, he becomes incredibly loving and loyal. He enjoys cozy dog beds, couch cuddles, wet food, and staying close to his person.<br/><br/>He does well with dogs of all sizes and cats. Because he can become nervous when overwhelmed, he would do best in a home without small children.<br/><br/>Purple is mostly potty trained and walks on leash once comfortable with his surroundings.
