Puppy Aspen (Courtesy Post)'s Story

Hi! I'm Aspen — happy puppy, and student.

I'm what you'd call a pretty normal puppy (the good kind). Curious, friendly, and excited about learning how to be the best dog ever. I'm already getting lots of training and have started group puppy classes, where I'm learning all sorts of fun things with positive reinforcement. Basically... I learn things, I get treats. It's an excellent system.

I actually love training games and enjoy working with my people. I play nicely and appropriately with humans and I'm always happy to join whatever activity is going on.

Dogs? Yes please! I get to interact with dogs every day and I'm a very pro-social girl. I play well with male and female dogs of all ages and breeds. My best buddy right now is another girl pup about my age and size, and we have a great time together. I can get aroused by smaller dogs and quick movements but do have a small dog friend that can handle my exuberance.

I'm also pretty worldly for a young pup. I see horses every day and show no reactivity or prey drive toward them. I'm not bothered by noises, sudden movements, environmental changes, or livestock. I met cats when I was a tiny baby in my foster home, though I haven't had recent cat exposure.

At home I'm a very good girl — I kennel quietly, I'm housetrained, and I'm not destructive.

Because I'm a bright, active pup, a home that understands my breeds would be perfect for me. I'd absolutely love an active lifestyle and fun things to do with my person. Dog sports, training games, adventures, hikes — yes! I'm the kind of pup who will thrive with people who enjoy doing things together.

If you're looking for a friendly, social puppy who's already off to a great start and ready for a life of learning and adventure, I'd love to meet you.

Love, wiggles, and puppy kisses,
Aspen

You like this dog...now what?
