Punky Boxer Mix Dallas, TX

Beautiful Punky has not had an easy life. She was passed around to a few families, living the majority of her time in crates until someone found her in the paper. They took her home and she ran from room to room until she happily conked out on the couch feeling free. Unfortunately, this was not to be her forever family, as they had to give her up due to a move into an apartment that had a weight restriction.
Punky will turn 4 years old in January and weighs 86 lbs (down from 92!).
She has had one accident in the house when she first got to our home, but has been perfectly trained ever since. She knows sit, stay, shake, high five and even kiss on command!
We were told that she adores children of all ages, and even will lick babies sitting in their carriers. Punky is very much a people dog, choosing to be by your side wherever you go. She loves to snuggle with you and is the best napping buddy.
As far as other dogs go, we feel that a home with no other dogs or cats would be best for her. She picks and chooses who she likes and seems to be more okay with smaller males. A family with training experience would be wonderful, too. Punky will be your loyal and best friend for life!
