Pumpkin's Story

Meet Pumpkin! Pumpkin is approximately 3 years old, 28 lbs currently (but needs to lose some weight) and she is a mixed breed dog! In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training, crate training and leash walking!

She spent the last year of her life as a stray so she is still learning all about being a loved indoor family dog. She needs a patient family who can help her grow her confidence. Once she warms up, she becomes the snuggliest lap dog! Loud and sudden noises can scare her so she is best suited for a low traffic home.

She would be happiest as an only dog but could join homes with other mellow dogs. She could also go to homes with older dog-savvy kids.

Her foster says, "Pumpkin is an awesome little dog. But she can get nervous if too loud, so she is best suited for a quiet home. She's a very shy girl, especially after living as a stray for the last year+. She's quiet, and crates up on her own."

She is available for adoption in Hopkinton by appointment. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.

-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.
-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.
- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
