Update!<br/><br/>Pump is so sweet. As he spends time with his foster mom, his sweet ,loving, funny and trusting personality shines through! He loves to play, he loves to run around like a little pony. He loves to sleep on the bed by your side so innocent.<br/><br/> Pumpernickle came from Shreveport, LA with 9 other puppies. He is one of 5 litter mates and the only brindle puppy! He was found at such a young age that he missed the connection to his mom. He loves nothing more than to lie on your chest in bed to feel your heartbeat. He weighed 10 lbs when he arrived and now he is a whopping 25 lbs, We are working on his crate training and "going" outside! <br/><br/>He is a typical 5 mos old puppy, inqiuisitive , adorable, silly, goofy and clumsy! He is a young 5 mos old. We are working on getting him crate trained. He loves to go outside and play with his best chi friend, Chicken! He is a very active breed. He would love to have another dog to play with in an awesome fenced yard! Perhaps some older human kids to play with!! He may even be a good tracker dog! He loves to sleep on the bed and cuddle on your chest. He would love to have some older kids to grow up with! <br/><br/>He has had a clean bill of health from the vet. He has had his three puppy shots and his rabies vaccine. He will be neutered and microchipped by our rescue vet in CT at 6 months of age. His adult teeth are mostly in now but he still loves to chew and destroy his stuffiies. We are looking for a home with a stay at home parent who can continue with his training, a home w/in 50 mi of the greater Hartford area, a fenced in yard. He is a good rider in his crate (for safety) in the car. <br/><br/>His adoption fee is $650 which does include his neuter!
