Hi, I'm Pumba!<br/><br/>I'm a happy, friendly guy who loves making new friends. I'm friendly with everyone I meet, and I especially enjoy hanging out and playing with other dogs. I'm also good with kids! My foster thinks I may do well with cats, too, but we haven't confirmed that yet, so that's still a mystery about me.<br/><br/>I'm mostly a pretty chill guy. I'm happy to relax and hang out with my people, but every once in a while, I get a serious case of the zoomies and need to run, play, and get some of that energy out. When I'm playing, I can get a little vocal because sometimes you just have to let everyone know how much fun you're having.<br/><br/>I also have a pretty adorable party trick. When you call my name, I tilt my head at you like I'm trying really hard to understand what you're saying. My foster family thinks it's pretty cute!<br/><br/>I'm still learning a few things, too. I'm making good progress with potty training and I'm having fewer accidents each day! However, I'll need a family ready to help me learn all about crate training, leash walking, and basic obedience. I'm still figuring all of that out, but I'm a good boy who is ready to learn with a little patience and consistency.<br/><br/>I'm just a happy guy who loves to play, make friends, and be part of the fun. They arrive in Minnesota on 10/10/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30 and 11am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments. <br/>----<br/>*Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue.
