Pudge's Story

Pudge Needs a Hero Now

Meet Pudge, a sweet and gentle Old English Bulldog who has found himself in a place he was never meant to be.

Pudge was brought to our shelter as a stray, and despite our efforts to find his family, no one has come forward to claim him. Now this lovable boy waits each day, wondering why he was left behind.

The truth is, Pudge is not handling shelter life well. The noise, the constant activity, and the unfamiliar surroundings have left him scared and overwhelmed. Beneath his worried eyes is a dog who desperately wants nothing more than a soft couch, a kind hand, and a person to call his own.

Pudge is the definition of a gentle soul. He is affectionate, loving, and happiest when he's close to his people. He enjoys quiet companionship, cozy naps, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get. While he's certainly a champion snuggler and professional couch potato, he also has a playful side and a heart full of love to give.

And yes, you may notice that Pudge has a cherry eye. We like to think it's his built-in "reset button" or his way of winking at the world without actually having to wink. It certainly doesn't slow him down, and if anything, it just adds a little extra character to an already unforgettable face.

This handsome boy doesn't need a perfect homehe just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Someone who can see past his fear and recognize the loyal, loving companion waiting underneath.

Pudge is ready to leave shelter life behind forever. What he needs now is a hero.

Could that hero be you?

Visit: montagueanimalrescue.org to fill out an adoption application today!

Note: Adoption Policy: Montague County Animal Rescue typically does not adopt dogs to homes where they will live primarily outdoors. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors. Exceptions may be made for specific breeds or unique circumstances where an outdoor environment is appropriate and secure.
