Meet Puddles
Meet Puddles!
He just arrived to us from one of our rescue partners in the Oklahoma area. He is with a foster in Chicago Heights, IL. We will post more as we learn about him.
He was in a high intake shelter that euthanizes for space in Oklahoma. Owners never came to reclaim and he wound up on the kill list so the rescue pulled.
He is a delight. Loves dogs of all sizes and kids (not sure about cats).
Basics: neutered male, approx 1 yr old, 45lbs, up to date on vaccines and rabies.
Adoption Process:

- one of our team members will get back to you.
- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received.
- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, initial worming, and microchip.
-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
