A puddle of perfection in Pug form! <br/><br/>At 3 years old, Puddles was sadly an owner surrender to one of our local animal controls, as her elderly owners realized they could no longer provide the proper care for her any longer. In good news, her toenails are no longer growing into her pads, her ear infections are being treated and she's received veterinary care for the first time ever. She's also started her much needed weight loss journey! This girl will need someone dedicated to getting her back down to a healthy weight so that she can live the long, spoiled life she deserves! We know extra curves on a Pug can be really cute, but her joints, spine and already compromised breathing strongly disagree!<br/><br/>Puddles is as sweet as they come. She adores her humans and happily follows them around wherever they may go! She loves to get the zoomies and steal kisses in pure excitement but is also content sleeping on the back of the couch or at your feet. She also loves to sit in your lap..a non negotiable! She happily sniffs around the yard and explores on her walks, but if you call for her, she comes running! <br/><br/>Puddles does great with other dogs and is rather indifferent to them. She is the new kid in her foster home and has had a lot of changes so it's taken her a little bit to get used to the new routine. She's finally started playing with a couple of her foster siblings who actively engage with her, but she is not one to typically start the play. We do think she would be a great companion for another dog her size. She also coexists with feline housemates very well. She is wonderfully potty trained and crate trained, though she would likely do well being left out to nap when her family is gone once she is settled in and knows the routine. She does feel strongly that the bed is meant to be shared with a Pug and she will very kindly ask that you let her under the covers to curl up right next to you. You won't be getting chilly this winter! :-) <br/><br/>Puddles adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, heartworm/tick borne illness testing, vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
