Professor Paws's Story

Greetings, I'm Professor Paws--resident expert in tail wags. My lectures are open to all, whether you walk on two legs or four, and I'm proud to say I get along with both my human and canine colleagues. These days, I'm focusing on an important research project: getting fit and trim. It's a work in progress, but I'm confident that with regular "field studies" (walks!) and motivational snacks (the healthy kind, I'm told), I'll earn top marks in no time. If you're looking for a happy, friendly companion with a distinguished name and a heart full of love, I'd be delighted to join your household faculty.

We use a counseling approach to finding forever homes for the animals in our care. We screen our applicants but try not to create barriers to adoption. In three years of operation, we found homes for over 3,500 animals with only 12 kennels and 3 cat rooms. Communication with adopters is a huge part of our operations.
