My name is Priscilla and I am looking for my Elvis...or my own Graceland. I am a love bug..I will lay at your feet and stare at you while you are in my presence. I also love toys and the more attention you pay to me the more loving I will get. <br/><br/>My story is very similar to many others. My Mom is a Basset and my Dad might be a Mastiff, we really have no idea but my head is the size of a 60 pound dog. My Body is the shape and size of a Basset. My face looks more like my dads but my body is growing into a Basset hound. I am long and short and will remain long and short. I might be 40-50pounds when I grow up. I am not going to get much taller though. My Vet says I might grow taller by an inch or two, but that will be it....so I have a big head and a long body...I fit better on the couch that way. I love to watch Movies with my humans and I love to cuddle with my foster siblings. I am being fostered in a home with small kids and I love them. I am a compact muscle machine that is out to get as much loving as possible. <br/><br/>Car rides are the best, so are walks in the park. I like to show off my unique body and love when people just stop and go WOW what a gorgeous girl she is. <br/><br/>My back legs have a slight deformity in them that causes me to wobble when I get super excited. There is nothing medically that needs to be done to correct this, just love me with my imperfection and I will not discriminate against any of yours. Outwardly this little hiccup is not noticeable but you can see me wobble and sometimes I even fall down...Makes me more special:) <br/><br/>I must be the only one of my litter mates that had issues since I am the only one that was dumped at a high kill shelter. Thank goodness CLHR loves me no matter what. They also told me that there is someone out there that will love me just as much as my foster mom does. <br/><br/>I get along great with my foster siblings and love them all. So if you have other dogs that will be OK with me.<br/><br/>1. We will give you a call within 72 hours after receiving a complete application<br/><br/>3. Once we speak to you and feel you are a good fit, we will set up a meet and greet<br/><br/>4. Once we meet and do a home visit we can then and only then finalize an adoption. Every member of your household must be present for this meeting<br/><br/>5. We do adopt out of state and will do a home visit out of state as well<br/><br/>6. You can either drive to pick up your pet or you can pay for transportation to have your pet delivered to you.<br/><br/>7. All animals in your house MUST be spayed/neutered unless you have medical documentation preventing you from doing so. NO EXCEPTIONS.<br/><br/>8. Unless you have outside working dogs we will not adopt to a home with outside dogs<br/><br/>9. Fence is not required.<br/>10. Must be 25 or above to adopt (exceptions may be made case by case)<br/><br/>11. Adoption fee is $250 which includes a fully vetted/spayed/neutered/micro-chipped and up to date animal<br/><br/>12. The adoption fee is non negotiable<br/><br/>13. None of the above is negotiable
