Princess (Frankie)'s Story
Frankie is a sweet older girl who still loves adventures and has plenty of energy to keep her furever family busy. Frankie loves going and doing everything with her family. She is great in the car, rides in a basket on a bike, enjoys the paddle board, and chills at the beach, restaurants, and bars. If they allow dogs she wants to be there... as long as she is with her people she is happy. She absolutely loves her walks and can easily walk for over an hour a couple times a day.

Frankie does have some significant separation anxiety and is crate trained. She requires CBD oil, a routine, and her crate when she is going to be home alone (even for short periods of time). She just gets very anxious and is determined to get to her family, which often means scratching and destroying doors, trim, and walls. The CBD oil and crate help so much, but she does still whine and bark for periods of time when left alone. Her furever family would be best if home a lot, or if not, able to adhere to a routine when leaving and live by forgiving neighbors who don't mind a howl or bark.

Frankie loves people but she isn't too sure about other dogs. She is totally calm when she sees another dog and if they keep their distance she is great. She is tolerant of small dogs, but does not like bigger dogs or dogs who have a lot of energy. She has perfected the 'get away from me' growl and if a dog backs off she is perfect. If dogs leave her alone she is great and would be perfect with a chill, smaller doggie sibling.
Frankie loves to be petted and snuggle up with her humans. She sleeps in her crate or her doggie bed and is potty trained. She is a good eater and will do anything for a treat:) She is currently able to follow the commands of sit, stay (working on increasing distance), down, and 'in' for her crate. She walks well on a leash and gets so excited for her walks. She isn't really a 'playful' dog, so she gets her exercise with her walks:)

Frankie startles easily with loud noises and would do best in a calmer, quieter home with no small children. She is selective with what she wants and doesn't want, but she is an older gal and she deserves the best.
