Princess is 3 years old, healthy, medium-sized for the breed, white pit bull.

From what our rescue knows, she was found abandoned and tied up on Harlem’s streets. At some point she went through to a second initial owner and she was either abused there or originally (or both). She was surrendered for being snippy at people and exhibiting fearful behavior. At the same time, she has shown affection toward people, is very interested in play, and walks, and has a lot of youthful energy. She was pulled into our because of that potential.

She walks on lead but requires good lead skills and treats or toys to help guide her through the walk. She takes treats and toys from human hands especially in a less stressful situation than she is in now. She rode in cars and interacted with toys and people positively. Her behavior was better initially but is naturally increasingly compromised by crating and current stress of foster home. She should ideally be having more 1 on 1 attention / training with a breed experienced person and less resident pets near her to react to.

She is not good with cats and small dogs and she needs to be in an adult only, experienced and dog savvy home.
