Princess's Story

Princess was surrendered to a local shelter after a shelter worker saw her owner handling in her rough in the parking lot. At first the owner was asked if Princess had bitten and said no but then changed her story to she had bitten a child. Shelter staff saw that Princess was nervous and asked us to take her in. She was a bit slow to warm up to new people here but loved her walks and once she trusted she loves attention and pets. She has not offered to bite any one here. She had something going on with her eye so we took her to the vet and no scratch was found, her eye was treated for irritation and she was released for adoption at her follow up appointment. Princess is spayed, vaccinated, and did great for the meet and greet with the trainer. We call her a teapot chihuahua because she is 20 pounds. Her story goes that her owner passed and the owners daughter already had big dogs so gave Princess away to the lady that surrendered her. We never truly know but what we see is a 10 year old house trained Princess that wants her own people to take her one walks and love her. If you are interested in meeting her please call or text 503-569-1969. Princess is in foster in Jefferson Or
