Princess's Story
? Meet Princess ?

Princess’s story is heartbreaking but full of hope. She was found running loose around Mahanoy City, covered in fleas, painfully thin, with a severe skin infection that left pus-filled patches all over her legs and back. Her nails were so overgrown, it’s a wonder she could even walk. ?

At the vet, we learned she is Lyme positive and will need a month of medication once she finishes her current treatment for her skin. She was spayed yesterday and, during surgery, the vet discovered a huge ovarian tumor that thankfully has now been removed.

Through it all, Princess has shown nothing but love. She is great with everyone, housebroken, crate trained (though she doesn’t need one!), and currently weighs 67 pounds.

Unfortunately, her medical care vet alone came to just over $700. With adoptions and donations slowing down—and fosters being hard to come by—we’re asking for a little help to cover her care so we can keep saying “yes” to dogs like Princess.
