Meet Primrose 🌸<br/><br/>Primrose is a 5-year-old Bichon who is learning that life can be soft, safe, and full of love after spending her entire life as a breeder dog in a puppy mill. At 19 lbs, this little white fluff is still timid, but she’s beginning to show her sweet and curious personality more each day.<br/><br/>She is working on leash and potty training with small successes on both, and her future family should be patient and understanding as she continues adjusting to life inside a home. Watching a mill dog discover how to simply be a pet is truly something special. ❤️<br/><br/>Primrose has started carrying around dog toys, exploring her surroundings, and giving happy little tail wags as her confidence grows. She does well with the resident dogs and will require a fully fenced yard (no invisible fence) while she continues building trust and confidence. Puppy Mill Rescue Team 's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION POLICIES The Puppy Mill Rescue Team’s dogs are placed into adoptive homes within 60 miles of the foster home. We have foster homes in Rochester, NY, Buffalo, NY, and Macedonia, OH. When applying for a specific dog please check the profile to see where the dog is located. If you are not in this area and are looking to adopt, we recommend that you visit our Rescue Partners area or Petfinder.com to locate a rescue in your area. A legally binding Adoption Agreement must be signed at the time a dog is placed. The adoption donation varies and is included in the dog’s description on the website as well as in the Adoption Agreement. Adoption donations are not negotiable and payment must be made in full prior to or at the time of the placement of the dog. Please read prior to submission of an application for adoption. All potential homes must complete our adoption process which includes an application, meet and greet, home inspection and veterinary reference. Applicants must provide veterinary references if they have previously owned a pet and contact veterinary facilities to authorize release of their records to a PMRT representative upon request. Applicants who rent their homes must verify that they are permitted to have a dog and provide a landlord contact number on the adoption application. Landlords will be contacted in every case, no exception. The primary adopter must be at least 21 years old. We are solely committed to the dogs accepted into the rescue. We want to find them loving, permanent homes and go to great lengths to place the right dog into the right family. We reserve the right to decline any adoption based on what we feel is in the best interest of the dog.
