PRETTY is a PRETTY special girl that deserves a PRETTY amazing home. She came from a PRETTY pitiful situation when she was dumped on a rual road by a PRETTY pathetic owner. She survived, which is PRETTY much a miracle. She is perfectly house trained and great with all people, big and small, other dogs, and cats. She walks, wonderfully on a leash, knows sit, lay down and stay. She’s very gentle and loves being petted. When you look into her big eyes, they show nothing but gratitude for being rescued. We are waiting for a PRETTY special family to come along for this sweet girl. PRETTY will make a perfect addition to a PRETTY lucky family.

2. Meet with the dog or cat. Bring treats/toys if you would like.
During COVID and for TRANSPORT- Virtual Home Visit using Facetime

3. If adoption is approved - Complete Adoption Contract

2023/2024 adoption donations-

Local (South Florida) cat adoption - $150
Local (South Florida) dog adoption - $300

Out of state cat adoption:
One cat- $250
Two cats- $350

Out of state dog adoption:
One dog - $400


All donations are tax deductible.

Adoption donation for dogs includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Microchip, Deworming, and Heartworm Check if needed.
Adoption donation for cats/kittens includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Deworming, FeLV/FIV testing and Microchip

5. Thank you! This is the Dog! does not have a shelter. Our dogs and cats are in foster homes primarily in Homestead, FL. We are a small group of volunteers making a difference in the lives of people and the dogs/cats that we help.
