PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.<br/><br/>Meet Precious! Precious is approximately 10 years old, 12 lb currently, and she may have some Chihuahua in her mix! She came to us after her owner passed. In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training, but does not have a lot of experience with crate-training, and leash walking. She could join households with kids 5+, cats and other dogs. <br/><br/>Her foster says, "Precious is a pretty chill girl. She is going to make a great companion dog for you whether you are home all day or you can be an on the go kinda person at times. Even as a middle aged pup she still has a lot of pep in her step, and likes to play and would even enjoy some little walks with her people. Precious will do just fine in your household if you have other dogs or cats. She loves to know what you are doing, and where you are going and will offer her opinion even if you don't ask for it. She is a talker and has LOTS of opinions for you. She will do well with you even without a fenced yard and she is walked on a leash(she will have to get use to that again if that is the case.) She loves her time, even a bath and a brush. She does like to be up on the furniture with you, laying with you, and will sleep in your room at night in a dog bed. She is a well adjusted pup in the house and stays out from underfoot too."<br/><br/>She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in July or earlier.
