This beautiful girlfriend is Potato!
She is approx 3y old and just at 60lbs.
She was a throw away momma, who was found in someone’s yard just before Hurricane Ian and was never claimed.
She is good with people, including children and will flop over on her back for belly rubs.
Potato is dog selective and seems to prefers males. We feel that she would do best in a home with a friendly, submissive, like-sized male dog.
Slow intros would be needed and an experienced adopter.
Potato could thrive in a home with another dog but would need to be given time to adjust and not just left alone with the other dog right away.
She enjoys running and playing with other respectful dogs. She also likes to just lay with them and relax.
She requires a home with no “pocket pets”, cats, birds… or fish. They really peak her interest and make her lose her marbles.
She is both house and crate trained.
She’s a cuddly girl, who is very loyal to her person.
She loves to go for walks, play with the water hose, play fetch and frisbee.. but also just lounge around and be with her person. She is fairly calm, with the occasional zoomies. She does loves to chase lizards!
She was quite large(nearly 100lb) when rescued but has been on a diet. She was also heartworm positive but has gone through treatment. She now looks and feels like a brand new girl and is ready to find a family of her own.
