Possum

These amazing ears are looking for a home of their own, and the good news is they come with a little puppy attached! <br/><br/>Possum is a 3 month old deaf and vision impaired Sheltie/Pomeranian Mix available for adoption in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan. He’s a high energy little guy looking for an active home. He’d love to have some canine siblings to play with, though it is not a requirement. He does show some interest in chasing cats so his family will need to continue helping him learn to play a bit calmer. <br/><br/>Possum has a big voice, and he knows how to use it when someone isn’t paying attention to him! He will bark in a crate if he thinks something cool is happening elsewhere, unless he is given enrichment to do - in which case he falls asleep immediately after and will chill for quite a while (including through the night). He’s super smart and confident. <br/><br/>We will have Possum seen by an ophthalmology specialist, but he does not seem to see super well, so this is something his new family should be emotionally prepared for. Thankfully, he doesn’t care even a lick. He even handles stairs like a champ! <br/><br/>We are not rushing to place him, and as always - applications are not first come/first served, and we will be doing our best to make sure Possum lands in the perfect home he deserves.
