Meet Poseidon! Age:6 Weight: 65lbs
Poseidon is a joyful, friendly guy who loves to be outside. In his prior home, he was an indoor/outdoor dog with a fenced yard, was housebroken, and did chase cats. In our experience with Poseidon, he has been a smart and loving dog who enjoys attention from people in the form of back-of-the-ear scratches and a "good boy" every so often. He definitely prefers being outside, but he also wants to be where his people are. Poseidon came to us already knowing sit, shake, stay, and come - and even responding to "wait" before eating his meals. We continue to reinforce these good behaviors, and we are also teaching him to walk calmly on a leash. In a recent obedience training group, Poseidon was a star student who bonded quickly with his "teacher," pinned his ears back to listen to every command, and followed directions beautifully. This gorgeous guy is going to make someone a very loyal friend and steadfast companion, so come meet him before anyone else gets to him first! Poseidon does pretty well with other dogs, but we always recommend a meet and greet.
