Meet Pork Chop
Couch potato alert! Meet Pork Chop, a yummy low rider in search of a new pet parent to call his own!
This rugged muscle man is a sweet and loving pittie who is about 7-years old and weighs about 60 pounds. His expression seems to say, “I’m so tired of being homeless. Will I ever find my forever person?”
Pork Chop is a very friendly and easy-going boy. He would love the mutual companionship of a fellow couch potato. Watching tv, reading books, shopping online, and of course cuddling, are all activities he can help you with! He enjoys leisurely walks and loves car rides. He also knows his basic commands and is crate trained.
Pork Chop has been with Everett Animal Control since October, where he’s been wonderfully behaved at their boarding kennel. He is good with dogs of all sizes, but he prefers to eat in peace and play quietly with his own toys. He can live with another dog, but he’d probably prefer being your one and only pet.
His mild temperament makes him a good family dog, however he should not be placed with young children because he will guard his food and toys. No cats as his experience is unknown.
He is neutered, up to date on shots, and micro-chipped. His only challenge is needing one medication. He previously took antibiotics for a urinary issue and is now on Proin, an inexpensive chewable medicine to control leaks by strengthening the muscles “down there.”?
Will you be this beefcake’s rescue hero? He’s ready to go and his bags are packed! Contact Melissa at (617) 407-9887 or thedogmother@yahoo.com. Be sure to tell her that Animal Rescue Konnection (ARK) sent you! Thank you so much!
