Poppy is a lovely approximately 2-year-old female American Bulldog cross who is ready to find a family to call her own. She came into the shelter as a stray and was understandably nervous in her new surroundings at first, but it didn't take long for her warm and affectionate personality to shine through with the staff she has come to trust.<br/><br/>This playful girl loves her walks and has a great time tossing around her toys. Poppy is very people-focused and thrives on attention and affection. When she gets excited, she shows off her adorable zoomies, which never fail to make everyone smile.<br/><br/>Poppy is not suited to a home with cats or other dogs, so she is looking for a household where she can be the only pet. She would also do best in a home without small children, where she can feel secure and set up for success.<br/><br/>Poppy would benefit from the structure of crate training in her new home, especially while she is adjusting to a new environment.
