Poppy's Story

Poppy — A Tender Soul Who Just Needs Time
Poppy is Pinto’s sister, a shy and sensitive young hound mix who is slowly learning that the world isn’t as scary as it once felt. Dumped alongside her brother and underweight when found, Poppy came to us uncertain and timid, but every day, she takes brave little steps toward trust.
Poppy is the quieter of the siblings, preferring to watch from a safe spot until she feels comfortable. Once she realizes you’re kind, her eyes soften, her tail loosens, and she leans into gentle affection. She is thriving with patient care and is beginning to believe that humans can be safe and loving.
She is expected to grow into a large breed hound mix, and with steady nutrition she’s gaining strength and confidence day by day.
Before adoption, Poppy will be spayed and fully vaccinated, ready for her next chapter.
Poppy will do best with a calm, understanding family who can offer patience, stability, and reassurance as she continues to blossom. With love and consistency, she will turn into an incredible, loyal companion.
If your heart has room for a timid sweetheart who just needs someone to believe in her, Poppy is waiting.

If you're interested in putting in an application on this animal, please copy and paste the link below to fill out our application for adoption.
