Meet Popeye! This sweet Chi mix baby boy is estimated 3/4 months old and weighing in around 9lbs. Popeye is hands down one of the best snugglers in the world! He does amazing with puppy pads or will go out on a routine. Popeye also does amazing in his crate when his foster family has to leave. He just loves everyone and is great with other dogs and children! He is up to date on vaccines and is ready for his forever family.

Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
