Hi there! I’m Popcorn, a 6-year-old, 25-pound Pug with a sweet little face, a gentle heart and a story that might just break yours a little. You see, I once had a home and a human mom who loved me, but everything changed when she passed away. Suddenly, the life I had always known was gone and I found myself in rescue through absolutely no fault of my own. I don’t understand why my world turned upside down, but I’m still the same loving little guy who just wants someone to call his own. I’ve already known what it feels like to be loved and I’m hoping there’s someone out there who will give me that feeling again.<br/><br/>I’m a wonderfully easygoing boy with a medium to low energy level and a personality that makes me a joy to have around! I walk beautifully on a leash and we believe I’m likely already housebroken, although I may need a little time to settle into a new routine. I’m not looking for a home full of nonstop excitement. I’m perfectly happy enjoying leisurely walks, relaxing with my favorite people and soaking up all the love I can get. I’m such an easy, adaptable little guy that I could fit right into just about any home. I get along great with other dogs, love people and have so much companionship to offer. I don’t need much to be happy. Just a safe place to land, a family to love and the comfort of knowing I won’t have to start over again.<br/><br/>I’m dog friendly, people friendly and can be cat tested upon request! I’ll come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. My adoption also includes one month of FREE pet insurance plus a Fi Nano Mini GPS tracker with six months of tracking service ($20 activation fee)! I never imagined I’d be searching for a new family at this stage of my life, but I’m holding onto hope that someone wonderful is waiting for me.
