Popcorn's Story
Meet this handsome, 5-yearold, Bichon — Popcorn! Hes a true heartdog who bonds deeply with his person and loves nothing more than being your shadow. If he had his way, hed follow you everywhere, curl up in your lap, and spend his days soaking up all the affection he can get.
Hes polite and mingles well with other dogs, but he isnt really interested in playing with them — his people are his whole world. Hes calm, quiet, and easygoing when youre home, but he does bark when left alone, so a home without shared walls will set him up for success.
This boy appears to be potty trained, uses a dog door reliably, and has had very few accidents in his foster home. He is trustworthy with free roam and prefers snoozing on the couch or human bed, though he can sleep in a kennel when needed. Hes reserved with new people and dogs, a bit picky with treats, but thinks people food is the greatest thing ever. His expressive, intense eyes are part of his charm — and he definitely knows how to use them to convince you not to kennel him.
He enjoys the simple joys in life: going for walks (which bring out his happydance wiggles), rolling on the couch or floor, exploring outside, and riding in the car. He will thrive with someone who is home a lot or who can bring him along to work. A yard is nice, but not required if he gets regular walks and time outside. He prefers not to be around children and is looking for a mature home that can dedicate all their attention to him.
Hes a very good boy — steady, sweet, quiet, and companionfocused. If youre looking for a loyal sidekick who wants nothing more than to be close to you, this little shadow might be your perfect match.

Popcorn is being fostered in Longmont, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/popcorn/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
