Update 4/27. Sanders is a new man! He has slowly become an independent, playful little guy. He still loves to cuddle, but he is fine hanging with the other dogs in foster care with him. Sanders will need another resident dog to continue to show him the ropes. His adoption fee is $300 (or $250 if you are a senior age 65+).


Sanders continues to thrive in foster care. He has become very independent and loves to play with toys. He still loves to cuddle too.

Sanders has been taking an anti anxiety medication for a few week and it has helped to calm him and lessen his need to be carried constantly. Despite only having 9 teeth, he loves to chew on bully sticks and also loves to play with toys. Sanders is not leash trained so he will require a fenced yard.

Update 12/17 Sanders would love to find a home for Christmas. He recently had a dental and lost 15 teeth. He eats a mixture of canned food and kibble. He still prefers to be held or carried most of the time so I carry him in sling doggy pouch and he loves it

Sanders is a Crown Prince from some far away land who demands his staff to hold him at all times so he can see the world from their angle. He will repay you with 1,000 kisses. Actually, Sanders is an 8 year old toy poodle who was recently released from a commercial breeder. At times he acts like a puppy wanting to play, but most of the time he barks until you pick him up. He is a sweet boy, weighing in at 6.4lbs. He gets along with dogs but mostly seems to love his person. Could that be you? He is up-to-date on all vaccines, neutered and has had a recent dental cleaning. Sanders adoption fee is $300. Sanders is settling in well in his foster home. He still prefers to be carried but is getting better at being independent and snuggly in a bed. He is doing well at potty training and wears a belly band while inside.
