I was a yard dog all my life, and I’m never going back! I’m 7 years old, and I just discovered the good life. I like air conditioning, being near my human, the occasional piece of human food, and soft places to lay. I’ll beg for food and if it’s super yummy, I’ll nudge you with my paw. I like food, but most of all I love peanut butter cookies!
I like other dogs and chasing them! I need slow introductions with lots of space, otherwise I make a scene. It would be neat to have another dog sibling to play with, but I can be persistent about wanting to play all my waking hours. I’m a vocal dog and will cry or bark to get your attention or when I see other dogs.
Walks are great fun! I walk well on a leash. I have a strong prey drive and will chase rabbits if you give me a chance.
I need an adopter that will be patient with me. I am very loving. I may growl and potentially snap at you if I’m frightened during my first few days in a new home, but once I know your kindness I’m all kisses! Sooooo many kisses! I need loving pets and a comforting voice over yells and force. Treat me right, I’ll treat you even better!
I’m learning potty training, but I don’t know how to ask. I hate the kennel, but I’ll go in if you lead me there with a leash. I’ve learned most recently that furniture is comfy, and I would love to sleep on the pillow next to you. I’m neutered and up to date on shots.
