Meet Polly! <br/><br/>Polly’s story started in the most heartbreaking way—but thankfully, it took a beautiful turn.<br/><br/>Polly and her three siblings were found on the side of the road shortly after birth. A Good Samaritan stepped in and bottle-fed these tiny babies for several weeks before they came to Safe Haven Dog Rescue, where their bottle feedings continued until they were ready to graduate to soft food and eventually kibble. Their foster family showered them with love, handled them throughout their early weeks, and helped them grow into the happy, healthy, social pups they are today.<br/><br/>Now 8 weeks old and about 6 pounds, Polly is a little bundle of personality! She loves exploring, romping around, and proudly carrying sticks that are practically bigger than she is. But when the adventure is over, she’s more than happy to curl up in your lap for a well-earned nap.<br/><br/>And that adorable little white “necklace”? Just one more reason she’s impossible to resist.<br/><br/>Polly has come a long way from the side of the road—and now she’s ready for the best chapter yet: a forever family of her own.<br/><br/>Interested in making Polly part of your family? We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.<br/><br/>The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.<br/><br/>To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household.
