POLKA's Story

Meet Polka!! Polka is a Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix is is approximately 4 years old. She is a big but very gentle girl. Today I learned she LOVES leisurely walks where she is allowed to go slow and sniff everything her heart desires. She's also a fan of a nice long break where we could just sit and watch all the things around us. She’s has had bilateral TPLO and like all dogs who’ve had this surgery has a unique gait but she’s healthy and strong. She loves snacks, especially chicken, and takes them very gently when they are offered. Polka is dog selective but that’s really only because she loves her person very deeply and wants all their attention. She’s Very very people and kid friendly! Not a fan of cats. She, like so many other beautiful and worthy dogs, is searching for a family to call her own. Polka is microchipped, spayed, vaccinated and current on all preventions. she is crate trained, potty trained and loves the couch and REALLY loves children. she also smiles! Polka is located in Tulsa, Ok but can be adopted anywhere in the United States! apply at mercysakes2ndchancerescue.com
