The Polar Vortex Litter say: “bring on Spring, but we can handle the cold too!” January 15—an extremely cold day--Holly Grace gave birth to 8 adorable Pyrenees puppies: 4 boys- Glacier, Blizzard, Polar, Arctic, and 4 girls-Flurry, Wynter, Frostine, and Tundra and they are ready to find their forever homes! Polar is the bravest one of all; he was the first to go right down the porch steps on the first day outside! Not only is this boy brave and adventurous, but he also loves to cuddle with his mom, siblings and foster mom – he gives good kisses too! Polar loves to play hard with his siblings and mama and then pass out for a good nap. Polar will need a home with a secure fenced yard and a canine sister to teach him the ropes and become the best Pyr boy ever! PYRents with large breed experience too please. These kids are having fun being babies, but are also learning manners from their mama, the proper place to potty and are learning the ropes. They are being raised in a home with mama, other dogs, and kitties who they are quite interested in. They love all people, big and small. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
