Polar's Story

Polar is about a 2-3 year old male pyr in need of some serious TLC. He was found as a stray and is extremely underweight. When we brushed him out, he lost a lot of his coat, so he look lie a baby bird , a big babay bird! The coat loss is probably due to lack of nutrition. He is a very loving pyr boy who wants nothing more than to be petted and cared for. He will calmly sits at your feet and lays his head in your lap for attention.. He had a bad case of kennel cough when he came into our program, and is finally starting to feel better and beginning to play with the other dogs. He is fine with cats too, just ignores them. He is a truly a gentle giant. Polar will be placed as an inside pet with outside privileges to an above ground securely fenced yard.
