Thankfully, a foster stepped up and gave Poco the safe, loving home he deserved.<br/><br/>Despite his rough start, Poco hasn't lost his love for people. He's an incredibly friendly, affectionate boy who loves cuddling, spending time with his humans, and making new canine friends. He's great with kids and absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Once playtime is over, he's more than happy to settle in beside you and enjoy some quality couch time. He's got a moderate energy level, so he enjoys a little adventure but doesn't need an endless supply of exercise to be happy.<br/><br/>Poco is the best of both breeds! He's got those gorgeous blue Husky eyes, and if you enjoy a dog who has something to say, you're in luck. He'll happily howl and talk to you, Husky-style! He also seems to have inherited some of the Great Pyrenees' natural protective instincts, making him an observant and loyal companion.<br/><br/>Poco is curious about cats, but he hasn't been tested with cats in a home, so a careful introduction would be necessary. He is not suitable for homes with chickens or other fowl, as he has a known history of killing chickens while fending for himself after being abandoned.<br/><br/>Poco is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find his forever family. His teeth are in reasonably good shape, although he'll likely benefit from a professional dental cleaning within the next year or two.<br/><br/>After being left behind by the people who were supposed to love him, Poco deserves a family who will make him a permanent part of theirs.
