He is two and a half years old and weighs about 58 pounds. He is beautiful, goofy, and friendly, and loves people and animals of all kinds, especially running around with other dogs. Our goal is to place him in a home with other dogs so he has a canine friend. His groomer has said he's one of the best-behaved dogs she works with, and he has been invited back to every boarding and grooming facility he has ever visited. He has never shown any aggressive tendencies and has been described as submissive with other dogs.<br/><br/>He is trained and knows sit, down, come, wait, break, leave it, off, quiet, retrieve, up, place, kennel, paw, go potty, and go. He also knows heel and can be walked off leash. He is food motivated and smart, which makes him easy to train further. He is potty trained and crate trained, and does not destroy things or make messes in the house. He has no instinct to run away and can be trusted outside on his own. He wants to be around his family. He checks in on whoever is holding the leash during walks. He very rarely barks, though he will notify you if someone is at the door unless you tell him not to. He loves laying in the sun, running in the snow, and playing with other dogs.<br/><br/>Po is neutered and has had a gastropexy (stomach tack), which reduces his risk of bloat. He has a sensitive stomach managed with a hydrolyzed protein prescription diet and an OTC probiotic. He loves oven-baked chicken, scrambled eggs, vegetables, fruit, and Greenies. He is up to date on all vaccinations and on monthly tick and flea prevention. Complete veterinary records are available.<br/><br/>Po has been our beloved dog for two years.
