Plum Pit Bull Terrier Galveston, TX

Meet Plum. Plum was asked if she wanted to join her band of siblings into foster care, but she told me she prefers to "jam" on her own. So Plum ventured out of the safety of the Galveston Island Humane Society and the nice people that cared for her mommy and 9 brothers and sisters. She didn't need a band, she was an adventurous girl that packed her bag to join a foster home all by herself. But Plum soon realized the foster home wasn't a lonely place to jam at all, as there were other dogs like her siblings and these critters called cats. Plum's time in the foster home has been filled with learning, routine and lots of fun. Plum is working on potty training, sitting patiently for treats and food, and playing with foster brothers and sisters. She does miss her mommy and brothers and sisters, but she is such a smart girl learning quickly how to be the best pet anyone would want. Plum dreams of her ideal family to continue her "jam" session. The family would have time to work on new commands (she istreat motivated), being patient as she adjust to new places, having a backyard to run and play, and maybe even a medium to large dog sibling to play and mentor me into adulthood.
