Unfortunately its a game all of the pets that come into the shelter have to play. This games win condition is that he finds his furever home. The good news is you can give him powerups by coming to see if he might be the right fit for your home!! Pixel is a nervous guy who loves to spend his time directly on your lap. Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement's Adoption Policy
All adopters must fill out an adoption application. The application is reviewed by our adoption coordinator. If approved the adoption coordinator will contact them with a time to come and meet the animals they are interested in and counsel them on the animal's behavior and characteristics. We attempt to coordinate and find the best fit for the families and the animals. The public is welcomed to walk into our shelter at any time to view the available animals as well.
