Pita loves everyone he meets and just wants to be wherever his people are. Inside, outside, doesn’t matter, as long as he’s with you, he’s happy.<br/><br/>Pita is the definition of enthusiastic. Walk? Amazing. Backyard time? Incredible. Kids? His favorite! He thrives on connection, play, and being your loyal shadow through every part of the day.<br/><br/>He’s crate trained and already knows “sit” and “down,” and while he’s still working on house training and leash manners, his eagerness to please makes him a great student. With a little consistency and a lot of love, he’s going to shine.<br/><br/>Pita would do best in a home with a yard where he can burn off some energy and enjoy the outdoors he loves so much. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
