I’m Pistachio! 💚<br/><br/>I’m a playful, curious puppy who was found roaming the Mississippi fields with my best friend Copper 🌾🐾. We were BESTIES—running, playing, and getting into harmless puppy trouble together 😄. As fun as that life was, my rescue knew it wouldn’t be safe or fair for us as we grow up, so now I’m here—ready to find my forever family 🏡💫.<br/><br/>I’m a fun-loving little girl who absolutely enjoys getting into mischief with my friends 🤪🐕 (LOL—no shame!). I’m still a baby, so I’ll need consistent training, socialization, and lots of playtime to help me grow into a confident, well‑mannered dog 🧠🎾.<br/><br/>⏰ Because I’m still learning everything, my future family shouldn’t leave me alone for more than 3 hours a day. I currently eat three meals a day 🍽️ and need frequent potty breaks 🚪🌳—puppy life is busy business!<br/><br/>🎓 Training classes are required for me. Puppies may be adorable (and trust me—I KNOW I am 😇), but raising one takes real commitment. Too often people fall in love with our looks and forget how much guidance we need, which can lead to poor socialization and training later on 💔. That’s not fair to puppies—or their families.<br/><br/>My rescue is dedicated to helping puppies succeed, not fail 💯. I’m a loving girl with so much potential, just waiting for the right family to grow up with 💚✨<br/><br/>If interested in Pistachio, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.<br/><br/>Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:<br/><br/>Thorough veterinary examination.<br/>All routine annual vaccinations, including<br/>Rabies, DHLPP<br/>Bordetella (Kennel Cough)<br/>Heartworm Test<br/>Fecal Test, Deworming<br/>Microchip<br/>Flea and Tick Prevention<br/>Heartworm Prevention.<br/>Spay/Neuter<br/>All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.<br/><br/>VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.<br/><br/>HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
