Pistachio's Story
1 year old, 5 lb Pistachio is truly one of those rare, well-rounded dogs who fits in just about anywhere. She may be small, but she has a big personality and an even bigger love for life. Her breed mix is just a guess.

Pistachio is playful, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure. She loves exploring the backyard, especially alongside her dog friends, and is happiest when she’s playing with dogs or humans. Despite her size, she confidently follows the lead of the other larger dogs and keeps up beautifully.

She’s crate trained and does her potty business outside, though she’ll need a little help learning how to cue her future family when it’s time to go out. She’s a bit of a picky eater and could gain a little more weight, but otherwise she’s thriving.

At home, Pistachio is incredibly comfortable and affectionate: she often sleeps upside down right next to her foster parents and soaks up all the cuddles she can get. While she’s wonderfully easygoing, she still has a playful, puppy-like side, so she’ll do best with someone who appreciates that joyful energy.

She’s generally quiet, but when she’s playing, she loves to talk back - one of her many charming quirks. Overall, Pistachio is a happy, confident little dog with a fantastic temperament.

To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org
Her adoption fee is $450, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.
