Meet Pistachio & Kodak!<br/>A sweet mother-son duo looking for a fresh start! <br/><br/>~Shih Tzu/Yorkie Mixes <br/>~ 12 years & 3 years<br/><br/>These two cuties were surrendered when their family no longer had the time to give them the attention they deserve. Now, instead of snuggling on the couch, they’re trying to make sense of a busy shelter — so it’s no surprise they’re a little nervous at first. But once they warm up? Their true personalities shine. <br/><br/>-Pistachio — 12 years old<br/>A tiny, gentle older lady with a heart of gold. Pistachio is down for anything that involves snacks, naps, or quiet companionship. She loves taking slow walks with her son and exploring the shelter together. We’re currently waiting on her bloodwork to make sure everything is okay, but this sweetheart has so much love left to give.<br/><br/>-Kodak — 3 years old<br/>Playful, treat-motivated, and full of love! Kodak may be shy when he’s unsure, but once he trusts you, this boy melts into a total snuggle bug. He finds comfort in his people — and in his mom. He’s still coming out of his shell, but he’s ready for his next chapter.<br/><br/> Their Ideal Home<br/>We would love to keep Pistachio and Kodak together — they’ve only ever known life side-by-side. But they could also do well separately, especially in homes with friendly, welcoming dogs.<br/>We’re not sure how they do with cats, but we can happily cat-test them for interested adopters.
