Piper (Courtesy Post)'s Story
Meet Piper, an adorable, affectionate little Rat Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart!

After being found running scared through busy streets, Piper was rescued and placed in a foster home, where she’s made incredible progress. Once terrified of everyone, she’s blossomed into a playful, curious, and loving little companion.

Piper loves walks, fetch, wrestling with her foster siblings, and cuddling on the couch. She’s smart, crate-trained, house-trained with regular outdoor access, and knows basic commands. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats.

Piper is still shy around new people, especially men, and can be startled by unfamiliar noises and situations. But once she feels safe, her sweet, affectionate personality shines!

Her ideal home is calm, secure, and patient, with someone willing to let her build confidence at her own pace. A friendly, confident canine companion would be a wonderful bonus!

Piper has come so far and is ready to find a forever family who will help her continue to blossom.

Estimated age is 1-3 years

Please apply at www.poundpuppyrescue.org or email info@poundpuppyrescue.org for more information. This is a courtesy post for the current owner. We will be happy to facilitate a private rehome to the right family.
