Piper Boxer Mix Chambersburg, PA

Piper is around 4 years old and arrived at the shelter very skinny. She has gained some weight since her arrival but does need to gain a little more. She also had a urinary infection when she arrived that led to the discovery that she had a high number of crystals in her urine, due to this Piper is currently on a special urinary food to help with the crystals. Piper may have to be on special food for the rest of her life, but this will need to be discussed between her potential adopters and their veterinarian and may involve further testing. Piper also tested Lyme positive and was symptomatic, so she is currently on an antibiotic course to treat the Lyme. Piper is a very happy girl that loves attention and seems to love everyone that she meets! She is a smart girl and knows sit and shake. She is food motivated and wants to please her people! Piper must meet all family members that reside in the home. Piper would love to find her loving forever home soon! She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.
